I have been successful growing vegetables from seeds so I think I have a green thumb. Since growing up on the westside of Indianapolis. My family from great grandmother to my mom encouraged and supplied me with the means to grow a backyard garden. I enjoyed digging in the dirt and planting seeds to finally harvesting the fully grown vegetables. My chest swole with pride everytime my grandmother served the greens from our backyard garden at our Sunday feast. I am very proud of my gardening skills. Now, I live in a condo with limited space but I still have the desire to grow vegetables. I used the topsy turvy method to grow peppers and tomatoes. While cruising through Youtube videos, I ran across hydroponics and aquaponics systems. I was curious about the aquaponics process because I like caring for fish and I was thinking about growing vegetables on my patio. Since aquaponics combine both of my passions, I know I had to experiment with that process. Below, I have included some pictures of my experiments thus far and some helpful videos.
